Hail Everyone

Since the new tribal masks are very hard to tell the differences with our eyes, I have decided to do some investigation using the program Paint, and the results are very exciting.

Although I feel I do not have a full set of masks yet, I believe there are 6 hues to each color set. The color of the cheekbone is also unique, which is how I worked out the differences between them.

Below is a picture of my current findings. I have proven that all are unique, I think I am missing a green mask if there are 6 hues to a color set. However, amongst other mask collectors which use the similar method to distinguish masks, only 29 unique masks are currently found.

What you have to do to find out the settings for the masks are actually quite simple.

Press Print Screen to get a capture of your UO screen
Open Paint, and paste it into Paint
Select the zoom key and zoom in in your box of masks. Zoom until you can get a reletively large pixel of the cheekbone.

Select this tool on the left menu bar and click on the cheekbone pixel

From the Top menus, choose Colors > Edit Colors > Define Custom Colors
The Color of the cheekbone pixel are now defined at the bottom right corner of that window.
Now you can start to find out whether your masks are identical or unique :)

Below is a table of my findings. I used the Hue and Red Settings as a reference.

(The order might not match the picture but these are all the unique settings)

Color Group Color Settings (Hue, Red)
Red 14,240 24,240 13,239 10,223 5,240 0,208
White 160,240 160,192 160,176 160,160 195,143 172,111
Green 35,240 42,192 56,160 67,127 65,111
Blue 140,159 143,144 147,95 153,143 145,79 140,175
Yellow 24,240 25,239 27,224 24,192 24,160 20.128

Hope this all helps.
