Your Eye Examination
At Vedelago Optometrists you will receive a comprehensive eye examination which includes assessment of eye health for conditions such as cataract, glaucoma and pterygia. We also look at the ocular signs of physical health problems such as diabetes, high blood pressure or neurological problems. You will also be tested for your eyesight, focusing and eye muscle co-ordination difficulties.


Behavioural Optometry
Behavioural Optometry is preventative, developmental and rehabilitative eye care. It takes a holistic view of visual performance and visual problems and involves the diagnosis and treatment of functional and perpetual vision disorders in adults and children. Treatment options may include vision therapy, stress-relieving lenses, developmental or therepeutic lenses, yoked prisms and advice on visual hygiene. Ocular nutrition councelling for specific eye conditions like cataract, dry eyes and macular degeneration is also available.


Pediatric Care
The treatment of children's visual problems is a special part of our practice. Visual perceptual testing is also available for those with learning-related visual difficulties. It is best to detect a lazy eye (amblyopia), turned eyes and pediatric disease at the youngest possible age. Pediatric low vision care and pediatric contact lenses are also available at our practice.
