Special Conditions for Rodeo (First week of August each year) 1. To make a confirmed booking you must pay for the first night of accommodation for every member of your group. 2. Arriving by bus
Look out for the white BACKPACKER COURTESY BUS. It should be waiting for you at the bus terminal. If not, please give us a ring and we will be happy to pick you up.
Arriving by car

From the East (Townsville, Brisbane) Follow the main road into town. Turn left at Tourist Info. into Mullan Street. Straight through the first intersection into Spence Street. We are at the next intersection (corner Spence and Pamela Street). Map |

Arriving late or early? No problems - just ring the night bell or knock on the Night Manager's door.
Arriving by train
Please give us a ring when you arrive and we will pick you up.
Arriving by plane
Unfortunately, due to the distance, the courtesy bus does not go to the airport. You will have to make your own way to the Haven. A taxi fare is approximately $15 (one way). There is no shuttle bus etc. - just taxis.
