Instructions:
Although the Champion Patrol competition is a team event, not all six team members participate in every component
Only three are nominated for the board tube rescue relay race, and two are randomly chosen for the resuscitation demonstration.
This leads to a good humoured banter amongst team members as to whether everyone is pulling their weight.
Feelings probably run a little stronger over the resuscitation demonstration,
as all team members must train, but only two, chosen randomly by marble draw, get to perform in competition.
Over the course of time some team members have drawn the marble far more frequently, others never.
Those that miss out on selection are known as "passengers", just tagging along for the ride.

In a Swanny Shorebreak exclusive, we give you the chance to see if you would be
Sitting in the Captains seat of the Swanbourne Nedlands Champion Patrol, or riding along as a passenger!

Would passengers in the Swanbourne Nedlands Champion Patrol please report to the main arena as your competition is about to start.

"Welcome aboard the Swanbourne Nedlands Champion Patrol, this is your Captain speaking.

This will be followed by the Patrol Scenario in which everyone may participate.

Thank you for flying with the Swanbourne Nedlands Champion Patrol."
