Enid Blyton was probably the single most popular and prolific childrens writer of the 20th century.

Publishing in excess of 500 titles from short story books through larger childrens novels as well as plays, religious works, and numerous magazine articles.

At the same time she also had her work criticised and saw her books 'black-listed' in libraries around the world for being 'unsuitable' for kids!.

I was fortunate enough that my family ignored the dire warnings of 'evil-to-come' from reading her works. I enjoyed reading her books immensely and now enjoy sharing these tales with my children.

So why this web site ? To bring me together with others who enjoy her writing for its own sake and to hopefully help me trace some 1st Editions of her works which I now collect.
