Morgans Dockside Stout

1 can Morgans Dockside Stout extract

1 kg Dark roasted malt

250grams lactose

Morgans are a South Australian company. Interesting brew method. No boiling. Instructions recommend just adding can to 4 litres boiled water in the fermenter. Stir to dissolve then 18 litres cold water. Of course I didn't, only boiling the mix for 15 mins. Gives a very smooth sweet stout. Top rating

1 kg Scottish Export Beer Muscle

Nice session beer. Not too gassy. Not too much alcohol. Refreshing hop taste at first leaving slightly sweet aftertaste.

Nice head, not nearly as heavy as it looks, full of flavour. Goes well with Black Pudding.
