MANES/TAILS Our dressed manes/tails are real hair & we can supply horse or cattle and is on the hide, making it easy to nail on. They are cured, then shampooed, high pressure hosed to remove seeds, scurf, manure, etc., hair-conditioned, rinsed, dried, then hand brushed. Being real hair, they can be dyed to any colour, as most are blonde, but we do have Blacks & Browns. One horse tail is ample for both mane & tail of the biggest horse, or 2 cattle tails. |
SWING IRONSThe 10mm (3/8”) irons are cold formed and the 12mm (½”) large ones are bright steel, hot bent. We suggest you use a 2¾" (70mm) top rail for better clearance from the legs and with our special top bearing you get 10 times more surface than a flat plate and posts can be turned from 75mm stock. It is advisable for you to fit your hoof rails and give us the outside measurement, and then we can set the spread of your irons to the correct width. They will swing smoother if the hoof rails are parallel! |

CLAMPS These are cast aluminium to suit 10 or 12mm swing irons. Our special sets of non-rotating hoof rail bearings, half round top bearings and chrome drive-on end caps are available, along with an instruction sheet @ $7 a set.(Makers in the past always painted their clamps Black or Maroon) |

STIRRUPS Large Nickel has 3" (7.5cm) inside base.

REINS & LEATHERS for stirrups5/8" (16mm) and ¾" (19mm) wide by 1/8" (3.5mm) thick with nickel buckles. Black or natural. Reins are 16mm wide Please supply width of bit and length of reins required |
