Joan Grant passed away on the 25th October peacefully after battling cancer for 17 years. Joan and her business Racquets Plus sponsored Ballarat Tennis Club and The Australian Closed Professional Championship. She loved watching Rob Fahey and sold Steven Virgona his first tennis racquet. Although she only played a couple of times, she visited every club in Australia and was a member of Ballarat and Hobart. Always one to bid at a real tennis auction and a founder of this website, she will be sadly missed. |

following dates for January 2008 tournaments: 14 -18/19 Jan: Roo Trophy (Amateur handicap singles & doubles) 20 Jan: Pro-Am Doubles 21 - 22 Jan: Richmond Classic (Open handicap singles) 23 - 29 Jan: Men's & Women's Open Singles & Doubles (ARTA events).
