can be taken individually or as a sequence, although TAROT #3
will require that TAROT #1 & #2 have been completed, or that
previous experience with the Tarot be demonstrated.
TAROT #1 - THE 22 MAJOR ARCANA
1 X day 10.00 - 4.30
An
introduction to the history, mystery, symbolism & modern-day
interpretation of the 22 cards - or "Trumps" - of the
Major Arcana.
An
experiential course that includes Circle Work, music, examines
the colour codes, astrological, numerological, elemental, theological
and mythological connections of the cards, the process of "The
Fool's Journey", guided intuitive exercises, issues and
ethics when reading for yourself and others. Looks at how to
choose a deck of cards, "charge them up", care for
them, when/why you might use different decks at different times.
Lots of class participation, exploration of the meanings of specific
combinations of cards in a spread. Many tarot decks from my private
collection will also be available to view and compare imagery
with the Rider-Waite-Colman Smith deck. Suitable for beginners
or those wishing to deepen and enhance their knowledge of the
Major Arcana.
Bring your lunch, your deck of Rider-Waite Tarot cards, pen and paper and your questions!

TAROT #2 - THE 56 MINOR ARCANA
1 X day 10.00 - 4.30
An
exploration of the 4 "suits" of the Tarot - the 56
Minor Arcana cards. Includes work with the Court Cards (Pages,
Knights, Queens and Kings). Explores the colour codes, astrological,
numerological, elemental, theological and mythological connections
of the cards. An experiential course that includes Circle Work,
music, guided intuitive exercises, lots of class participation,
examines the meanings of certain combinations of cards in a spread.
Many other tarot decks will be available for viewing and comparison
of imagery during the day. Suitable for beginners already
familiar with the 22 Major Arcana (see TAROT #1 above), or those
wishing to deepen and enhance their knowledge of the 56 Minor
Arcana.
Bring your lunch, your deck of Rider-Waite Tarot cards, pen and paper and your questions!

TAROT #3 - TAROT GYM: COMBOS/PRACTICAL READING SKILLS
Half X day 1.00 - 5.00
For
those already familiar with the Tarot, or who have completed
Tarot #1 and Tarot#2 or a demonstrated equivalent. A lively, fun, active
workshop designed to develop, accelerate and enhance your reading
skills.
Instruction
in 3 different layouts or "spreads". The basic Celtic Cross layout will
be explored and re-visited, along with 3 card and 15 card spreads. Close examination of the
meaning of specific card combinations. Includes techniques for timings and
summaries of spreads.
Practice
reading for others in a safe and supportive, private, class environment.
An opportunity
to work with others Reading their cards and having your own Read
for you by fellow classmates, with a professional Reader of more
than 26 year's experience on hand to guide, assist and inspire
you as you learn and extend your skills. Suitable for beginners
who have completed TAROT #1 & #2 or equivalent, and for those
wishing to work on, practice and enhance existing Reading skills.
Bring your own Tarot deck (preferably the "Rider- Waite deck") and pen and paper.
COST : $110.00 includes afternoon tea.
