SHAUNA CROWLEY has been interested in Astrology since the age of 5, was given a deck of Spanish language Tarot cards when she was 18 by a funny little old man who thought she "might like them", and has been working with them ever since.

Whilst continuing to study Astrology/Tarot, she established a Sydney-based career in theatre, film and television, which included 6 years as Casting Director of the TV drama series A Country Practice - one of the most popular, long-running and internationally successful television series in Australian TV history. She also developed and ran unique workshops for actors (professionals and students); was commissioned to write two books; was nominated for the Telstra Businesswoman of the Year Awards; developed a television art series and Executive Produced the pilot; and for almost 10 years owned and operated an exclusive agency managing top screenwriters and film and television directors. She holds qualifications in: Radio & Television Production (AIR-TV School, QLD), Law for Managers (University of NSW); Law for Producers (Australian Film, Television & Radio School); and Counselling & Humanistic Psychology (Health Schools Australia) ­ for which she completed a special study of the purpose of sleep (because she never gets any & wonders what it's like) and dreams.

She went on to study Colour Therapy, Dream Analysis and Astrology (Nature Care College, Sydney) and Aura-Soma. She received her Practitioner's Certificate in Astrology from much loved, much-mourned teacher, the late Parampara Hughes (1949-2005 http://www.magus.com.au/parampara/) .

In 2003 she presented a nightly radio segment - "Astrolite" - Mon-Fri on Melbourne Radio 3AK with host, comedian Tim Ferguson (Doug Anthony Allstars); this incorporated the unique concept of evening Horoscopes cast only for the hours of 4.30 pm-midnight. She also presented special "spooky stuff" reports and gave live on-air Readings for callers . This gave Tim the opportunity to publicly claim he's a non-believer and Shauna the opportunity to publicly smack him around a bit.

In 2004 she presented a monthly on-air segment, delivering horoscopes and commentary on Southern FM Radio (Melbourne 88.3 FM), and studied Astronomy at Holmesglen TAFE. She is currently studying Theology at ACU National, Melbourne. She is a member of the C. G. Jung Society (Melbourne) and the Astronomical Society of Melbourne (which leaves her suffering from a certain amount of Telescope Envy).

Shauna teaches Workshops and Short Courses in both Tarot and Astrology (see "Classes" page for details), has taught these at Box Hill Institute and Holmesglen TAFE and also runs private weekend workshops at various times throughout the year (see "Contact" page to register your interest) in Melbourne and inter-state.

Her personal devastation at the demise of "Buffy The Vampire Slayer" and ­ she admits it ­ "Angel", cannot be overstated.

Shauna is passionate about universal symbology, and yep, she believes that the universe is an organic matrix that resonates, reflects and corresponds on all levels as a whole ... and that our birth chart is the personal roadmap we are born with, signposting our potential and opportunites. We can take the Blue Pill or we can take the Red Pill, making of these what we will.
