Astrology

Astrology has been independently used by the Chinese, Mayan and Indian civilizations for thousands of years. In her book Predictive Astrology (2001, Llewellyn Publications), Christine Shaw notes that the first surviving records of astrology date from around 8 thousand years ago. The first known astrological textbook, Tetrabiblos, was published by the Greek mathematician Ptolemy, approx. AD 150-180. The ancient Greeks were also amongst the first to observe connections between astrology and the psychological behaviour of humans.

Due to the constant movement of the planets, an individual's Natal Chart a "snapshot" of the heavens' planetary positions at the moment of birth cannot be repeated for about 26,000 years. Some of the great minds who have studied and/or practised astrology: Hypatia, Aristotle, Plato, Ptolemy, Copernicus, Kepler, Galileo, Brahe, Newton, W. B. Yeats, Jung.

Life owes its existence to inter-connected cycles. An Astrologer utilizes specific aspects of the knowledge of natural cycles , to help place life events in perspective and to provide timings for the commencement and passing of major life passages.

The ancient system of Astrology can reveal:
the Natal Promise inherent in your unique Birth Chart; the gifts with which you entered the world and how to capitalize on these; exploration of the recurring themes in your life story (Natal Chart Consultation); where you are headed to now, as your personal story unfolds (Progressions Consultation); current and future life trends - the planetary transits : how to maximize positive cycles aspecting your unique planetary placements; be prepared for, and "get through" life changes (Transits Consultation)

Your initial Consultation incorporates analysis of your Natal Chart plus Progressions & Transits in relation to it. Subsequently, clients may "check-in" once a year or so to learn what cycles may be in store or to find out "what's going on?" due to the current planetary transits.
