Transfers from and to Kasane airport will be provided. Guests transfering by road from Vic Falls (see 'Getting to Kasane' on main page) will be transfered on Saturday 14 August to the conference registration desk at the Chobe Safari Lodge and then to the MOWANA Safari Lodge.

The lodge is situated in Kasane on the banks of the Chobe River - 6 km from the world famous Chobe National Park

Returning to MOWANA Safari Lodge from an afternoon game viewing cruise on the Chobe River at the start of the hot wet season. August is dry and warm during the days but can be cool at night.

The Savuti cocktail Bar is located on the first floor overlooking the Chobe river and the Namibian Flood plains. The guest lounge is beneath.

Located between the main lodge and the riverbank is the swimming pool with the Boma bar and dining patio.The bar is recommended by the Executive Committee! (from left to right; Willie van Aardt, André Vosloo and Steve Morris)

Guest are covered by Medical Rescue International (MRI) as well as 24 hour access to Kasane Clinic.

NOTE: All delegates staying as guests of the MOWANA Safari Lodge will be pre-booked on drives and cruises from the lodge operator since the Hotel's policy does not cover guests for MRI when using outside operators.
