If you have yet to submit your abstract please provide this by 1 MAY 2001.

Abstracts should be sent to André Vosloo (drkav@puknet.puk.ac.za) as RTF files, Winword or Wordperfect documents. Please include the following:

• Title
• Authors
• Institutions and affiliations
• Addresses (including email for the corresponding author)
• Abstract body (not exceeding 250 words, with limited references)

Abstracts will be posted on this web page as they reach André. Each delegate will receive a hard copy of the abstract booklet and program upon registration in Kasane.

Please send a copy of the abstract to the appropriate session organiser.

MANUSCRIPTS for Chobe 2001

We are soliciting manuscripts for the conference volume(s) from all presenters (oral & poster). The conference volume(s) will be produced by Elsevier and published in Comparative Biochemistry and Physiology. Chobe 2001 will present papers covering the entire range of physiology and biochemistry from ecology and biodiversity to toxicology. CPB is one of the few journals that can accommodate all of the papers from the meeting. Papers should be prepared with the appropriate style (see details under "Guide for authors") of the journal and will be subject to the normal peer review.

One printed and one disk copy of the MS should be available at the meeting and should be left at the registration desk. The authors will have until the end of September to provide any revised version.
