The conference venue will be the 'Chobe Safari Lodge' and the 'Mowana
Safari Lodge'. Shared accommodation will
range in price per person, starting at about $12 US (per person)
basic camping, through Safari tents, shared chalets, rondavels
and luxury river view suites (Chobe Safari Lodge) to
deluxe shared thatched chalets and bungalows (KASANE MARINA LODGE), and
luxury roooms at approximately $145 US per person (Mowana Safari Lodge). Camping will be available at 'Chobe Safari Lodge'
where there is a choice of permanent Safari Meru Tents (2/3 share)
and tent stands for those with their own tents. The distance
between the Chobe
Safari Lodge and the Mowana Safari Lodge is
about 3 km and delegates will be transfered each day at the start
and end of the Scientific programme using a mixture of road and
river transport. The KASANE MARINA LODGE is approximately 200 m from the Chobe Safari Lodge.
Delegates staying at the Mowana Safari Lodge
will be transfered to Chobe
Safari Lodge for the 'ice-breaker' and the
'conference dinner'. The poster session and buffet will be at the
Mowana and delegates will be transfered as required.
Delegates bringing their own camping equipment can find details
and guidelines on rates in the 'camping' page.
