  • 3/4 oz. Cherry Brandy

    Shake well with cracked ice. Strain into cocktail glass.


  • Lake Cooler

  • 3 oz. White Wine
  • 1/4 oz. Peach Schnapps
  • 2 oz. Cranberry Juice
  • 1/4 oz. Sugar Syrup
  • 1/4 oz. Sour Mix
  • Club Soda

    Mix all but club soda in highball glass filled with ice. Top with club soda. Stir.

  • 3/4 oz. Gin
  • 3/4 oz. Swedish Punsch
  • 3/4 oz. Grape Juice

    Shake well with cracked ice. Strain into cocktail glass.

  • 1 oz. Gin
  • 1 oz. Dry Vermouth
  • 2 dashes Brandy
  • 2 dashes Pernod

    Shake well with cracked ice. Strain into cocktail glass.


  • Lawhill

  • 1 1/2 oz. Blended Whiskey
  • 1/4 oz. Dry Vermouth
  • 2 tsp. Orange Juice
  • 3 drops Pernod
  • 3 drops Maraschino Liqueur
  • 3 dashes Angostura Bitters

    Shake well with ice. Strain into an old-fashioned glass filled with ice.


  • Leap Frog

  • 1 1/2 oz. Gin
  • 1/2 oz. Lemon Juice
  • Ginger Ale

    Fill highball glass with ice. Add gin and lemon juice. Stir well. Fill with ginger ale.


  • Leap Year

  • 1 1/2 oz. Gin
  • 1/2 oz. Grand Marnier
  • 1/2 oz. Sweet Vermouth
  • 1 tsp. Lemon Juice

    Shake well with cracked ice. Strain into cocktail glass.


  • Leave It To Me

  • 1 oz. Gin
  • 1/2 oz. Apricot Brandy
  • 1/2 oz. Dry Vermouth
  • 3 dashes Lemon Juice
  • 3 dashes Grenadine

    Shake well with ice. Strain into a cocktail glass.


  • Lemon Drop Shooter

  • 2 oz. Vodka
  • 1 slice Lemon dipped in sugar

    Serve Vodka and sugar dipped lemon seperately. Lemon is to be sucked right after Vodka is drunk.


  • Lemon Punch

  • 1 pint Rum
  • 3/4 pint Brandy
  • juice of 3 or 4 Lemons
  • peel of 2 Lemons
  • 3/4 pound Sugar
  • 3 1/2 pints Boiling Water

    "Infuse for 1/2 hour and strain into punch bowl the lemons, sugar and water. Add Rum and Brandy. Stir well. 4 oz. of Curacoa, Noyaux or Marachino may be added."


  • Leprechaun

  • 2 oz. Irish Whiskey
  • Tonic Water

    Fill old fashioned glass with ice. Add Whiskey and fill with tonic water. Stir.


  • Liberty Cocktail

  • 3/4 oz. Light Rum
  • 1 1/2 oz. Apple Brandy
  • 1/4 Sugar Syrup

    Shake well with cracked ice. Strain into cocktail glass.


  • Liebfraumilch

  • 1 oz. Creme de Cacao (white)
  • 1 oz. Cream
  • 1/2 oz. Lime Juice

    Shake well with cracked ice. Strain into cocktail glass.


  • Light Guard Punch

  • 3 bottles Champagne
  • 1 bottle Pale Sherry
  • 1 bottle Cognac
  • 1 bottle Sauterne
  • 1 sliced Pineapple
  • 4 sliced Lemons

    "Mix all in punch bowl with large block of ice. Stir well, sweetening with sugar if needed. Serve immediately. Serves about 20."


  • Lillet Noyaux

  • 1 1/2 oz. Lillet
  • 1/2 oz. Gin
  • 1 tsp. Creme de Noyaux

    Shake well with cracked ice. Strain into cocktail glass. Garnish with orange twist.


  • Limbo

  • 2 oz. Light Rum
  • 1/2 oz. Banana Liqueur
  • 1 oz. Orange Juice

    Shake well with cracked ice. Strain into cocktail glass.


  • Lime Rickey

  • 1 1/2 oz. Gin
  • Juice of 1/2 Lime
  • Club Soda

    Squeeze juice of 1/2 lime over 2 ice cubes in highball glass and drop in lime shell. Add Gin and fill with club soda. Stir gently. (also known as Gin Rickey)


  • Lion Tamer (shooter)

  • 3/4 oz. Southern Comfort
  • 1/4 oz. Lime Juice

    Shake well with ice. Strain into shot glass.


  • Little Colonel

  • 1 1/2 oz. Blended Whiskey
  • (Southern Comfort)
  • 1 oz. Bourbon
  • 1/2 oz. Lime Juice

    Shake well with cracked ice. Strain into cocktail glass.


  • Little Devil

  • 1 oz. Gin
  • 1 oz. Gold Rum
  • 1/2 oz. Triple Sec
  • 1/2 oz. Lemon Juice

    Shake well with cracked ice. Strain into cocktail glass.

  • 1 1/2 oz. Light Rum
  • 1 1/2 oz. Sweet Vermouth

    Shake well with cracked ice. Strain into cocktail glass.

  • 3/4 oz. Cointreau
  • 3/4 oz. Kirschwasser
  • 1 tbsp. Green Chartreuse
  • 2-3 drops Maraschino

    Shake well with ice. Strain into an old-fashioned glass filled with ice.


  • London Cocktail

  • 2 oz. Gin
  • 2 dashes Orange Bitters
  • 1/2 tsp Simple Syrup
  • 1/2 tsp. Maraschino

    Stir with cracked ice. Strain into cocktail glass.


  • Lone Tree

  • 1 1/2 oz. Gin
  • 3/4 oz. Italian Vermouth

    Shake well with cracked ice. Strain into cocktail glass.


  • Long Beach Iced Tea

  • 1/2 oz. Vodka
  • 1/2 oz. Gin
  • 1/2 oz. Rum
  • 1/2 oz. Tequila
  • 1/2 oz. Triple Sec
  • 1 oz. Sour Mix
  • Cranberry Juice

    Pour liquors and sour mix into collins glass. Top with Cranberry Juice.


  • Long Hot Night

  • 2 oz. Bourbon
  • 3 oz. Pineapple Juice
  • 3 oz. Cranberry Juice

    Mix ingredients into a highball glass filled with ice and stir.


  • Long Island Iced Tea

  • 1/2 oz. Vodka
  • 1/2 oz. Gin
  • 1/2 oz. Rum
  • 1/2 oz. Tequila
  • 1/2 oz. Triple Sec
  • Cola

    Pour liquors into collins glass. Fill with cola.

  • 1 1/2 oz. 151 Proof Rum
  • 2 tsp. Lime Juice
  • 1 tsp. Grenadine

    Shake well with ice. Strain into an old-fashioned glass filled with ice.


  • Los Angeles Cocktail

  • 1 1/2 oz. Blended Whiskey
  • 1/4 tsp. Sweet Vermouth
  • Juice of 1/2 Lemon
  • 1 tsp. Powdered Sugar
  • 1 Egg

    Shake well with cracked ice. Strain into sour glass.

  • 1 oz. Brandy
  • 1 oz. Gin
  • 1 tsp. Curacao
  • 2 tsp. Lemon Juice

    Stir well with ice. Strain into a cocktail glass.


  • Love Cocktail

  • 2 oz. Sloe Gin
  • 1 Egg White
  • 1/2 tsp. Lemon Juice
  • 1/2 tsp. Raspberry Juice

    Shake well with cracked ice. Strain into cocktail glass.


  • Lube Job

  • 1 oz. Vodka
  • 1 oz. Bailey's Irish Cream

    Mix ingredients in an old fashioned glass filled with ice and stir.


  • Lugger

  • 1 oz. Brandy
  • 1 oz. Apple Brandy
  • 1 dash Apricot Brandy

    Shake well with cracked ice. Strain into cocktail glass.


  • Lynchburg Slush

  • 1/2 cup Burbon Whiskey
  • 2 cups Water
  • 1/3 cup Sugar
  • 6 oz. can Lemonade Concentrate
  • 1 quart Ginger Ale
  • 1 Lemon

    "Combine water, sugar, lemonade and burbon and blend until sugar is dissolved. Freeze in covered container. Pour into pitcher or punch bowl, add ginger ale and float lemon slices."
