Earthquake
- 1 1/2 oz. Tequila
- 1 tsp. Grenadine
- 2 Strawberries
- 1-2 dashes Orange Bitters
Mix in blender with 3 oz. crushed
ice until smooth. Pour into cocktail glass. Garnish with twist of lime.
East India Cocktail #1
- 1 1/2 oz. Brandy
- 3 dashes Raspberry Syrup
- 3 dashes Red Curacao
- 3 dashes Bitters
- 3 dashes Maraschino
Shake well with cracked ice. Strain into
cocktail glass. Serve with twist of lemon peel.
East India Cocktail #2
- 1 1/2 oz. Brandy
- 1 tsp. Light Rum
- 1/2 tsp. Triple Sec
- 1/2 tsp. Pineapple Juice
- dash Bitters
Shake well with cracked ice. Strain into
cocktail glass. Serve with twist of lemon peel.
Eclipse
- 2 oz. Sloe Gin
- 1 oz. Gin
- 1/2 tsp. Lemon Juice
- Grenadine
Drop olive or cherry into cocktail glass and cover
with grenadine. Mix rest of ingredients with cracked ice and strain into cocktail glass
over grenadine. Do not mix.
Egg Sour
- 1 Egg
- juice of 1 Lemon
- 1 tbsp. Sugar
Shake well with cracked ice. Strain into sour
glass. Decorate with 1/2 slice lemon.
Eggnog Supreme
- 1 fifth Cognac
- 8 Eggs
- 1 pint Heavy Cream
- 1 quart Milk
- 1/2 pound Sugar
Beat yolks and whites of eggs seperately.
Add sugar to egg whites and beat until stiff. Combine yolks and whites and mix thoroughly.
Add Cognac. Beat mixture. Add cream and milk. Mix. Chill well. Serve with a light
sprinkling of nutmeg.
El Cid
- 1 1/2 oz. Tequila
- 1 oz. Lime Juice
- 1/2 oz. Almond Syrup
- Tonic Water
- dash of Grenadine
"Pour Tequila, lime juice and almond
syrup into collins glass, stirring well. Fill with cold tonic water. Add dash of grenadine
to top."
Emerald Cocktail
- 1 oz. Irish Whiskey
- 1 oz. Italian Vermouth
- 1 oz. Scotch Whiskey
Shake well with cracked ice. Strain
into cocktail glass.
Empire
- 1 1/2 oz. Gin
- 1/2 oz. Apple Brandy
- 3/4 oz. Apricot Brandy
Shake well with cracked ice. Strain
into cocktail glass.
English Milk Punch
- 1 pint Brandy
- 1 pint Rum
- 4 oz. Batavia Arrack
- 1 pint Tea
- 1 quart Boiling Water
- juice of 4 Lemons
- rind of 2 Lemons
- 1/2 lb. White Sugar dissolved in boiling water
- 1 Pineapple, peeled, sliced & crush
Combine all but
milk. Allow ingredients to steep for 6 hours. Add hot milk and juice of 2 lemons. Mix and
filter through a jelly bag. Put in in tightly corked bottles. Pour cold into
Collins glasses and serve.
English Mule
- 1 1/2 oz. Gin
- 3 oz. Ginger Wine
- 2 1/2 oz. Orange Juice
- Club Soda
- Ginger
Combine all but soda and ginger with ice. Shake well
and strain into collins glass. Add ice and fill with club soda. Decorate with ginger.
Everglade
- 1 oz. Light Rum
- 1 oz. White Creme de Cacao
- 1 oz. Light Cream
- 2 tsp. Kahlua
Shake well with cracked ice. Strain into
cocktail glass.
Everything But
- 1 oz. Whiskey
- 1 oz. Gin
- 1 oz. Lemon Juice
- 1 oz. Orange Juice
- 1 Egg
- 1 tsp. Apricot Brandy
- 1/2 tsp. Powdered Sugar
Shake well with ice. Strain into a
Sour glass filled with ice.
Ewing
- 1 1/2 oz. Rye Whiskey
- 2 drops Angostura Bitters
Mix and drink.
Express
- 1 1/2 oz. Triple Sec
- 1/2 oz. Vodka
Shake well with ice. Strain into a chilled
cocktail glass.
Eye Opener
- 2 oz. Light Rum
- 1 tsp. White Creme de Cacao
- 1 tsp. Triple Sec
- 1 tsp. Anis
- 1/2 tsp. Powdered Sugar
- 1 Egg Yolk
Shake well with cracked ice. Strain into sour
glass.
