Zoids are fantastic toys, which you put together like a model, but after which will normally wind up or do something interesting. They never cease to amaze me in their intricate design and the mechanics involved, not to mention how incredibly accurate to the TV show they are (something I always like ^_^). In short the toys are miniature works of art and extremely cool! And here you can read reviews on the toys I own, either out of interest or to help you decide if you want buy them yourself :P

These are my Zoids (the ones underlined already have their reviews written), I don't own all the Zoids toys there are, and will only be writing reviews on the ones I own, so if it isn't listed here I probably don't have it, sorry. However, when I do get more Zoids, I will update the list :)

Comments:

Not sold in my country and I don't know of any country that has sold them, though I'm sure there must be a few. I got mine via the net, the instructions and packaging is in what looks like Japanese.

Both these customize parts are made for either the command wolf or hammer head, and while they could work well enough on almost any zoid with the right sized pegs, they might not fit (may interfere with the Zoid's other limbs), make it hard for the zoid to move, or make it fall over, something which they don't do on the Zoids they're intended for.

Appearance:

Those on the pack show several different colours in the parts, mine only came in a copper colour, all of it, even the blade of the blade attachment which is clearly shown as grey on the package. I suspect some if not all of the package pictures have had the parts painted, which I might do later as it looks a lot cooler and less boring. In actual structure they look okay, alright but not that neat on their own, but attached to a zoid they look much better (though the colours don't match with either command wolf I have and look odd, they fit well with the colour scheme of the hammerhead).

On the hammerhead, blade and shield make more interesting weapons than those the shark zoid comes with, and the effect on the command wolf is a lot like a jousting horse.

In the instruction manual (which is in a language other than English, but the directions are easy enough to follow anyway) they show a hammer head with TWO blades attached, obviously a suggestion for those who buy more than one pack of CP-14, which actually does look freaking awesome.

Stickers/decals:

They come with no faction specific decals, but a rather different one of a shark and a shield and trident (no idea about the trident) with the words "Navy killer" on it in English. All the stickers are red and/or white with a yellow shield and black shark on the shark sticker being the only variation, they suit well enough, but I think some black ones would've been good too.

Since both weapons are entirely copper coloured, the stickers help them look less boring, though not as much as painting would. I used all the stickers on mine, and could've probably used a few more.

Movement:

I'm going to cover how the Zoids they're equipped on move with both parts attached, since the parts themselves don't move.

In terms of both the command wolf and the hammer head, they didn't seem to slow down or hamper the zoid in any way I would tell (although with the added weight the zoids may be a little slower than a zoid without). They were well balanced and looked neat. When the command wolf moves, they actually move up and down with the legs, and on the hammer head, they move side to side along with the head of the zoid.

I did try putting them on a few other zoids I own. When the pegs actually fit it tended to over balance the zoids and get in the way of the limbs, and when the zoids could actually stand while wearing them, they couldn't walk/run without being forced to stop or falling over. That's not to say that the only zoids these will work on are the hammer head and command wolf, I'm sure if you found another zoid that they fit on and didn't unbalance then they'd be fine. But due to the varying zoid peg sizes and zoid shapes there are a lot of zoids that these simply won't work on. Probably the best zoids to try would be those who're well balanced (four legged) or large enough that it doesn't matter.

Poseability:

They don't pose much, the shield rotates on its peg, and the blade shoots forward, a bit like a harpoon that doesn't fully fire (it stays attached to the weapon, and it doesn't fire like a missile, you have to manually pull and push it in place) there are also small shield like pieces on either side of the blade shaft that can be flattened down or put at various angles but that's where the poseablity ends.

Durability:

They're weapons, not zoids, and don't seem to have any pieces that would be easy to break off, however I think they'd be a risk to zoids with pegs who they're attached to (like the command wolf, not the hammer head). Like all weapons there's a risk of snapping a peg when affixing or removing it, though in the case of the command wolf it'd mean you wouldn't be able to reattach the shoulder armour after the peg was broken.

Over all:

They're cool, I like the jousting type effect you get with the command wolves, and a hammerhead with TWO blades would be awesome (though you'd need two packs of these for that) as it is, a hammerhead bristling with any kind of weapons is neat and they're more interesting than the missile firing things the hammerhead comes with.

Being only one colour makes them a bit dull, but it's nothing a bit of paint wouldn't fix. The fact that you have to remove the shoulder armour of a command wolf to attach them bothers me, as if the peg snapped there'd be no easy way to attach the armour again.

I don't think they're an absolute must have, but they make an interesting and individual touch to a more standard zoid, if you have a command wolf, hammerhead or other compatible zoid that is :)
