Organised under strict rules and regulations, Zoid battles are fighting competitions held upon enormous battlefields using mechanical combat units know as Zoids. So begins the introduction to Zoids: New Century, the series which follows the life of the young junk-salvager Bit Cloud and the remarkable Liger Zero. Both of them fighting together to prove their worth and combat the forces of the sinister and mysterious organisation, the Backdraft group, which seems intent on driving the organised world of sanctioned Zoid battles into utter chaos. But before Bit and liger appeared, long long ago, Zoid battles were matters of life and death, survival or total annihilation, in a war between the two great nations of the Guylos Empire and the Helic Republic. The Empire, endowed with greater weapons and resources, seeks to quell the uprising of a rebellion that is the Helic Republic, while the Republic fights hard with whatever desperate tactics and limited resources it can, not only for it's beliefs and the lives of it's people, but for it's very survival. Later, once peace has been established, a new threat appears, and losing could mean the end of the world. Dangerous renegades with powerful Zoids at their disposal threaten to break the newly born alliance between the Empire and Republic, and shake the sleepy world from it's time of new found peace into the harsh reality of war once again. Zoids:New Century, Zoids: Chaotic Century and Zoids: Guardian Force, are all represented with their own unique character, cities and locations, in the Zoids roleplaying genre of Nameless Planet Zi. Be a member of the Backdraft group and wreak havoc among the sanctioned Zoid battles of the New Century Realm. Be a spy in the Classic realm (Zoids: Chaotic Century/Guardian Force), during the war between the Empire and the Republic, or a brave member of the Guardian Force, fighting against impossible odds to save the world. Whatever path your character's life takes, the choice is yours, with, for a while at least, the ability to immerse yourself and live in the world of Zoids.
