Longways sets of four couples, numbered 1,2,3,4.
A1 1's Dance the Diamond

(takes 16 bars)

Imagine a diamond, the top and bottom points in the middle of the set. The top couple dance the points of the diamond with turning pas-de-basque steps. The lady to the top, the man to the bottom point.
The set to each other at each point. Each point takes 4 bars.
A2 continue Top couple continue to dance the other 2 points.
B1 1's Up and Down the Set Couple 1 use skip-change steps to go down the middle of the set and back. 
B2 1's and 2's Poussette Couples 1 and 2 hold both hands and push and pull to change places in 8 pas-de-basque steps.
1)Man 1 pulls his partner towards the man's line. Man 2 pushes his partner towards the ladies line.
2) Both couples do a 1/4 turn clockwise so the men are facing down the set. 
3) Man 1 pushes his partner down the set on the men's side. Man 2 pulls his partner up the set on the ladies side.
4) Both couples 1/4 turn clockwise again so the men have their backs to the ladies side.
5) Man 1 pulls and man 2 pulls so they are in line in the middle of the set, with man 2 at the top of the set.
6) Both couples do another 1/4 turn, so they are they are one their own side of the set with couple 2 at the top.
7 & 8) Let go hands and pas-de-basque to place. 
Repeat All the above until couple 1 finishes at the top again. Couple 1 now repeat the dance with couple 3, finishing down one more place.
Then while couple 1 are dancing with couple 4, couples 2 and 3 do the dance at the same time.
- 32 bar Reels AABB This dance needs to be practised or shown with a set who know what to do. Despite the sound of the name and terms, a Scottish dance popular in Australia in the 1930's.

Longways sets of five to seven couples, numbered alternately down the set 1,2,1,2...

1st couples half turn by right hand moving down the set slightly to be between the 2nd couples.
Form lines of 4 with hands joined. M2--W1--M1--W2 Ladies facing down the set, men up the set.
Set right and left
1's drop right hands, all walk 1/2 turn so ladies now face up the set and men down. Rejoin hands in lines of 4.
Set right and left
A2 Opposites Half Turn
All Set
1's Face & set right and left
Centre couple drop hands and half turn again so 1's are in centre again.
All set right and left. 
1's face each other holding right hands and right and left in the middle of the set.
 
B1
1's Lead Down & turn lady under
Return to new place
PROGRESSION
1st couples lead down the centre of the set one place turn lady under into ladies line while 2's move up one place.
1's move down the set 2's up the.
B2 All Spin

Ends renumber

All couples short arm spin
At the bottom 1's become 2's at the top 2's become 1's
Unpaired couples will need to wait one repeat at the ends sometimes .
- 32 bar Tunes AABB This dance is often danced to Jig tunes but the steps are still Reel and walk.

Polka Quadrille

4 Couples on the sides if a square. Polka steps throughout.
A1 All Polkade All 8 hold hands in a circle standing slightly diagonally, starting with the left foot all polka clockwise. 
A2 1's and 2's Right and Left Through

Back to Place

Using a polka step couples 1 and 2 right and left through.
Pass the opposite couple by the right shoulder, ladies advance and move in front and to the left of their partners. The men allow the the ladies to get ahead and move to the right. When on the opposite side of the set, all turn around clockwise to face inwards.
Repeat back to place.
B1 3's and 4's Right and Left Through

Back to Place

Couples 3 and 4 right and left through and return.
B2 1's Visit Couple 1 in a promenade hold, polka anti-clockwise around the inside of the set. 
A1 1's and 2's Ladies Chain
Chain Back
Ladies 1 and 2 change places taking right hands as they pass, then taking the opposite man's left hand, he puts his right hand on her waist and turns her around him anti-clockwise. 
Chain back.
A2 3's and 4's Ladies Chain
Chain Back
Ladies 3 and 4 chain and chain back.
B1 All Polka the Set (16 bars) Everyone polkas the set.
B2 continue Polka Spacing one circuit to fit 16 bars.
- Repeats Repeat for 2's, 3's and 4's. Change order for 3's and 4's.
- 64 bar Polkas AABB twice Was for a time in the 1880's the 5th figure of the Alberts.

Pride of Erin

Couples in promenade hold around the room.
A1 Promenade Forward

Promenade Back

Starting with outside feet, take 2 slow steps forward, then chasse forward, raise the inside foot and point the toe.
Step back with the raised foot, take 2 slow steps backwards, chasse backwards and turn to face your partner. The men will have their backs to centre of the room ,ladies facing the centre.
A2 Cross Step

Waltz Solo

Men raise their left feet, ladies their right. Swing the raised foot in front and outside the other foot. Transfer weight and swing opposite foot across. Body should turn smoothly during this.
Repeat cross stepping.
Turn to face the line-of-dance, waltz on your own forwards.
B1 Balance, Raise and Change

Balance, Raise and Change

Partners face each other and join hands. Balance forward on left foot, raising the right foot forward. Solo waltz to opposite place, lady turning under man's right arm.
Join hands and repeat back to place.
B2 Waltz Take the ballroom hold and circular waltz along the line-of-dance..

Princess Polka

Couples in promenade hold around the room.
1 Polka Forward  Starting with outside feet, take 8 heel-and-toe polka steps forward. ( 8 bars)
2 Polka Crossover  Heel-and-toe to the outside.
Lady heel-and-toe crosses in to left in front of man, men heel-and-toe on the spot.
Heel-and-toe to the outside.
Lady heel-and-toe crosses back to right in front of man, men heel-and-toe on the spot. 
Repeat again.
