 Chasse out

Couples take 4 gliding chasse  steps diagonally towards the centre of the room. The man commences with left foot, lady the right.
Couples take 8 short chasse steps diagonally out.
This diagonal in and out is called the piece-of-cake.

C Galop Couples do circular galop, advancing leading foot, (man's left, lady's right), bring up following foot in a scissors action. around room anti-clockwise
- Special tune although others can be adapted played ABABC, its the number of notes per bar not tempo that changes. A very popular, vigorous couples dance.
