Digital Photography and Imaging is one of Zen's current consuming passion. All the photos in this website have been taken with digital cameras including: - an Olympus C3030Z (3.3 megapixels) - a Fujifilm Fnepix 40i (2.4 megapixels with built-in MP3 player) - a Minolta Dimage 7Hi (5.0 megapixels). This has a 28-200mm range with great SLR features - a Canon 350D (8 megapixels) with 17-85mm lens with image stabilizer great for night shots - and newer Canon 400D and 450D Professional photography work by Zen is at: www.bitsnpixels.com.au

In addition to the pics in the Line Dancing and Travel sections, here are some pics for you to have a look at:

Zen is also teaching a series of courses with the Macquarie Community College.  



The software in Zen's 'digital darkroom' include:
    Adobe Photoshop - full of features but you'll need lots of time to learn
    Adobe Lightroom - great workflow, superb for RAW images
    Irfanview 3 - a great shareware graphics viewer/editing program
    PictureWindow 3 - powerful imaging from a photography perspective, very reasonably priced
    Mediachance - has some nice freebies and shareware digital camera tools.
If you'd like a high resolution copy of an image, or a print of any of the photos, please contact Zen. Prints cost A$2.00 for 4"x6"; $10 for 6"x8" and $20 for 8"x12".  The fee for a high resolution image depends on usage. (Digital photographers need to live too!).
