We are having a rest folks from our lovely website!!

Our very kind husband of our President (Julia) Henry Kirwan is placing this (our farewell for some months) on the site for us. We also have some photos of our presentation for you to have a look at.  Jan took lots of photos and it is hoped we will pass them around (in an album) early next season. Thanks to all who attended our Presentation night and congratulations to all our award winners both team and Club and Association. Congratulations to Melinda Kristaly Jessica Sullivan Jade Close (who is leaving us for Sydney) and Vanessa Kristaly who have all made the Under 21 State Squad.  Mel and Jade also made the Elite Arrows team (Squad). Indoor success sees Vanessa heading off to Tassie for the Australian C'Ships and Mel is shadow for the team (Mel made the U21 last year and it is hoped will make it again we will keep our fingers crossed.) HNSW has asked Jan to supply ball people for the Australia Versus New Zealand Hockey game (mens) on 23rd Nov 7.30pm Kathleen Corliss, Tegan Risk, Ash Bartlett and Emma Robinson will be attending Kathleen,Ash and Tegan did the Nationals for veterans last month in Sydney.

Our thanks to Henry for looking after our website and we hope that when he and Julia settle into their new home up the mountains that he will once again be able to look after our site for us. Lets hope 2008 sees our new turf up and running for the season. have a great break, enjoy Xmas, be safe and look for some players for 2008. 

If anyone is interested each Thursday at the Hockey Centre there is coaching for youngsters new and already playing from 4.30pm cost $2 per player. It is a good opportunity for our little ones to have more coaching in the off season. (but don't join another club raiders needs all our Juniors especially .) The Coaching also includes Goalkeepers which Jessica Mills may be interested in.
