Nowadays, anything you can put into a Word, Excel or PowerPoint document,
you can put on to the web. All you need to do is click on FILE then SAVE AS,
type in a file name that has no spaces or punctuation. Then change the Save as
type to HTML.
But it can look very different from how it looks in say Word. The easiest
way to keep it looking the same is to put everything in a table and it will
stay where you put it.
To look at how to work with tables, look at our tables
KTIP.
Then all you need to do is add hyperlinks. Hyperlinks are the things you
click on that let you move from web page to web page, or send an email.
The way to do that is to click on INSERT then HYPERLINK. In 'text to
display' type what you want the person to see, what you want them to click on,
like 'click here for tables'.
Then in the next box down type the file name or website address you want to
link to. Then hit OK.
You can also go to another part of that same page, or an email address. The
procedure is the same. Type the words, then type the place you want them to
go.
