Standard Blood Lead Data set 1991-99

Please disregard all previously reported data

Current at 12/1/00

Notes:

1) Data set includes only children less than 60 months at the date of sample collection [i.e.: >0 and < 5 years old, (some may be = 0 due to rounding and very early i.e. 1st month, blood tests)].

2)  Does not include cord blood samples.

3)  Multiple samples returned in a calendar year by any one child are averaged.

4)  1999 data set extracted from ELC data base on 11/1/00, and appended to pre-existing 1991-98 data set.

5)  Note that NHMRC guidelines in response to individual children are employed here:

·      below 10 mg/dL is the NHMRC target range for all children.

·      greater than or equal to 15 mg/dL is the NHMRC intervention threshold.

·      greater than or equal to 25 mg/dL is considered a high level.
