Well, we just got back from our week away. we went to a place called Moree. George thought the artesian spa baths would do us good, the drive up was good , except for Georges short cut which actually was a long cut ,up hills ect , we herd the lovely bell birds going up the mountain, actually I thought the tyres on my car were squeaking till he told me it was bell birds.

we stopped at MacDonald's  somewhere ,I cant even remember now had a cuppa tea. And then pushed on ,only took us about 7 hours to do a 5and a half hours drive. Then they had daylight saving so we weren't quiet sure if the clock went forward or back but we finally got it right , my friend ,a pioneer from N.S.W. was there and we got to have 3 days of their company before they went home, .. immediately we went dipping in the pool you dip in for 10 minutes come out and cool off dip again after a while,  , this became extremely monotonous after a few days and even George was getting sick of it, but we had to make the best of it, may I point out that it was all his idea in the first place, but we  really thought it might help all our arthritically problems which it never ,may I add,. it did make us very sleep actually . so we did a lot of that , the town is like one street about 4 restaurants  and nothing to do , nothing to see, . On Sunday it was a great treat to go to the local Moree congregation , just 23 publishers a very pleasant positive group... after the meeting we went dipping again then sleep then eat then dip. we are very clean   now almost bleached.

we went to visit a sister who had lots of chooks and she gave us a pile of fresh eggs, it was nice weather for three days and overcast for two and rained the last day, we didn't mind , we like rain.

When we were leaving  some of the staff all came to the car to see us off,  one said" lock gates. don’t let them out." no we didn't steel anything , we were just so popular they wanted to keep us there,.

The place was full of old solum quiet sickish people creeping around to the gentle water music in the bathes dipping away there pains. UNTIL we arrived that is, George stirred up all the males with his chessboard in hand challenging one and all to beat him ,I recon the chess games put more spark into them than the water  my friend Maureen and I played scabble every day in between dips and her friend Margaret was the referee,  so us three girls had a nice visit in the baths every day. after they left we had 2 more days to go.. so we played chess, but ,I found some incredible sales and got over 120 dollars worth of clothes for 35 dollars including a swimsuit. I found some expensive 17 dollar thongs for George for only 5 dollars a pair and they massage your feet as you walk ,he loves them, we scowled the place looking for a good meal .all we found open was a Chinese restraint non to cheep and not that delicious.

Also  when went to Coles we saw some fish oil .omega 3 capsules 27 dollars a bottle then we saw some on a row short life (exactly the same) 2/60c , we quickly did the math and seen 6 bottles which is what was there would last both of us 2 months taking one three times a day, and that’s when it is on the expiry date, so we bought the lot ,yep about 150 dollars worth of capsules for 15 dollars ,cant complain can we , what we saved on clothes thongs and fish oil pills payed for the petrol and more really,.

I made some nice stir fries in the room , chicken and veg and we were happy with that, flaked out and watched TV all night .a luxury having air con on all night on the very hot nights,..

The man in the pool room as in baths  not snooker, he said to George, until George came he had no one to talk to and he was feeling a bit lonely .of course us chatterboxes just talked to everyone , within 2 days we knew everyone's business , who they were where they lied what they here for and what religion and nationality they were and there opinion on the word stage as it is today, So we got some favourable witnessing in. and left all our mags with different ones before we left,...I defiantly don't recommend the baths to anyone with chronic fatigue ,I’m totally conked out with tiredness still.

when we left we decided to come home a different way , so off we went to Inverell had a good look around then off to Glen Inness had a horrible lunch at some cheep and nasty George found, of course he enjoyed it as he got to get a beer, wonder if it was all contrived, I have my suspicions,.. we looked around and then moved on to Tenterfield which we really liked , we would have stayed the night but the hotel rooms were very expensive so we decided to come home after we looked around collected some memorabilia and visited the information centre, a place to defiantly call back on with lots to do.

George said that he sleeps better after his artesian bath treatments and also has no more pains in his arterial wrists (whatever that means) and in drinking the artesian water daily a few times a day which has 36 different types of minerals in it , that he feels so much better, I decided a bath with some bath salt will do me thanks very much . give me an ocean cruise anyway...but having said that ,it was an experience and interesting.   we got to Loganholme about 6/30, we went and ate at the hyperdome first as we hadn't had a meal, Then we went to  a movie to unwind and relax and then got home about 9.30pm..

and you know the rest unpacking washing shopping cooking all over again.   All the best  from Karol&George.
