Who am I? |

I have been
heavily involved in computing since 1965, completing my tertiary training
at RMIT, and have done many computer related courses since to keep upto date.
I have also an extensive background in electronics. This is of considerable benefit in
problem solving for my clients, as there may be either an electronic or
software solution. I have worked for the DSTO (Defence Science Technology
Organisation) since 1961. I have now retired from working at DSTO as a
Senior Officer Technical (level C). At one stage I had clearance to SECRET,
so I can assure any client of complete confidentiality. |

What services do I offer? |

I sell,
service/repair/upgrade computers and related equipment. I also specialise
in data recovery (I am able to recover lost data unless it has been
completely destroyed) and virus removal, scanning of photos or text and
OCR when required. Other skills that I perform are networking (installation
and upgrading), recommending proper methods of backing up
data (files etc), and converting information from one form (or system) to
another without major rekeying of the data, plus transference of
information from P/C to Mac and Mac to P/C. Extracting information from
your records and exporting specific data to spreadsheets, database or word
proccesing are other specialist services. |
