Our cats

All our cats have come to us from other homes, but have managed to make themselves very at home anyway, despite living with four border collies.  They know they really run the household and they have no hesitation in telling the dogs who is really charge too.  Fortunately for us they are prepared to tolerate our presence in their house and will even move over to make way on the sofa or a bed.

Catalyst (Jane)

Catalyst may look cute but you don't want to get the wrong side of her or she will let you know!  Apart from complaining about lack of food almost constantly, her other vice is jumping into visitors cars when they are not looking.

Catanova (Benji)

Don’t be fooled by his look of wounded innocence—he knows who is in charge and who has first dibs on the food bowl.  Some call him fat but he is happy in his overlarge body.

Catatonic (Josie)

As her name suggests, Josie spends a lot of time asleep but she also loves sitting on car bonnets and roofs, so please look out when you drive off.  She has the loudest purr of any cat we have met and shows it off often.

Catrina (Storm)

When not asleep, Storm is obsessed with bathroom activity and dives in there at the hint of a shower or even a toothbrush.  You will find her either on a cistern or on our bed—and like Benji she really doesn't believe in going outside with all those noisy dogs

Cattitude (Bugs)

Bugs was the first cat we got—as a tiny six week old kitten.  He spent his first night with us attacking our toes and hair and has never really looked back.  A bit of a loner he likes to hang out in the shed but can normally be tempted in with lamb fries or fresh mince.
