About Us
Our cattery is
located away from suburbia, a few km south of Townsville
in North Queensland. My husband Harold, cattery partner
Barb Cutler and myself (Barb Darwen), all participate in
waiting hand and foot on our many feline overseers, who
demand total dedication from their staff! In return,
they put their best paw forward at show time -
frequently winning ‘Best in Show’, as well as producing
charming kittens to rampage through the house and give
us non-stop entertainment.
We breed Tonkinese
(mostly brown variations) and Barb C and I were
foundation members of the registered Tonkinese breeding
program that started in Queensland during 1988. We now
produce mostly full register kittens (4th
generation of Tonkinese to Tonkinese). I am an
all-breeds judge with QICC and also specialise in Silver
spotted or classic Tabby Orientals of all colours with
the occasional solid or smoke version putting in an
appearance.
