We are a new group in the area and are kind of a sub-group of Fire and Steel although membership of Fire and Steel is not required to join Kingmakers.

We began out of a keen interest in High Medieval re-enactment and having no suitable group in the area and wanting to start afresh without the baggage of an existing group, Kingmakers was born.

We are dedicated to historical accuracy in our portrayal and enjoy the research and construction of artefacts that might have been used by a person of the historical period and location that we represent.

Members of Kingmakers generally have some skill or craft that they enjoy. Although such a skill is not required for membership of the group, it is certainly highly encouraged. We still enjoy martial activities of the age such as archery and sword work and practise them regularly.
