Here we see some people launching an attack at a mock up of a Viking longship. It later burnt to the ground/waterline, but that had nothing to do with us. Promise. Here Steve demonstrates the fine art of being awake to a newer member, in addition to enjoying a game of fanahthaftaflfarnanangh... whatever. Some of the members of Fire and Steel at Armidale engaging in a bit
of light conversation, possibly about:
The Fire and Steel campsite from halfway up the hill. See if you can see the mud. Did I mention the rain, at all? |

These photographs where taken at the 2002 Armidale Gathering.
Heaps of rain and mud and fun and much silliness around the campfire. Did I mention the rain? There was a lot of it. Heaps. And heaps.
Some kiddies playing in the forest. A little bit of combat. These photos aren't of us. In fact I have no idea who they are. We were off fighting somewhere. The Fire and Steel campsite at night. On the left, Steve and Paul stare in stunned disbelief as Duncan (out of shot), reveals his view of the Nature of the Universe (TM). Matt, quite rightly, turns away in horror and loathing. Roslyn appears to be readying a weapon, possibly to try and reduce the amount of Duncan's postulations, by using extreme violence. Poppy braces himself to stand and proclaim the campsite a Nature of the Universe (TM) free zone. Janet urges Poppy to do so quickly.
