Who could this blue Lycra and aluminium helmet clad individual be? None other than a (representation) of the King of the SCA. He was promptly executed for crimes against historical recreation in Australia.

How could there be a re-enactment event without a gratuitous shot of Darren's bum.

These photographs where taken at the 2001 Conference- A Medieval Odyssey. Fire and Steel had a decent contingent turn up to this tick laden event. Some of us were were loud, some were naughty, and pretty much all of us were very silly. Indeed it was a champion effort, as I don't believe anything happened at the Conference that was fun, silly or downright weird, without at least one Fire and Steel member participating or instigating the happenings.
