These photographs where taken at the 2000 Battle of Brunkerville II. This small annual gathering is for Fire and Steel and a few invited friends to keep the atmosphere very non-political and ensure we just have a huge time.

This year saw much wrestling (pretty much one or two or three against Duncan) and resultant ripping of tunics. The warm up game of soccer went down extremely well, and the fires were well stocked by Poppy. 

The fighting was said by many, to be the best for years and the scenarios on the bridge and along the narrow paths were heaps of fun. Ah. Indeed it was a great day. 

Possibly the worst thing about the entire day is that we didn't end up with many photographs to put here.
