MARS 

     Just a couple of pics Jim Daniel took of Mars at the Port Macquarie Observatory on
     Friday 22/8/03 at approx. 9.30 pm

     For the  larger of the 2 pics he used eye piece projection
     The smaller one was taken at prime focus
     Jim used Kodak 100 ASA .5 to 1 second exposure

 Mars as seen from the Hubble Space Telescope on Wed 27th August 2003 (Aust time) the south polar cap is clearly visible
in the bottom of the pic.
