For the first time in over 400,000 years, atmospheric carbon dioxide levels have risen above 300 parts per million (ppm). We have all heard of Global Warming but what does all this really mean to us?

There is a natural cycle lasting around 100,000 years where the carbon dioxide levels have fluctuated between 200 and 300 ppm. This is the difference between an ice age (200 ppm) and the "normal" weather patterns (300 ppm) that we have come to enjoy.

The level is currently around 380 ppm and climbing fast. When seen on a graph, this is a frightening sight. There is no doubt among scientists that
1) we humans are responsible for this increase and
2) that the planet is warming up because of it.

The answer to carbon dioxide emissions comes in the form of the d'Oliveira Natural Gas Refinery (dNGR). Taking waste products and turning these into clean energy sources like hydrogen and drinking water, the dNGR is ground-breaking technology that the world needs today.
