REQUIREMENTS


Tail fabric - 12" x 10" (30 cms x 26 cm)
Upper body, Head and arms - flesh coloured woven cotton 7" x 10" (18 cm x 26 cm)
Mohair, Roving or Wool for hair
2 Small buttons
Pigma Pens in Blue, Red and Brown
Stuffing


Sew your flesh fabric to tail fabric and fold in half along the short edge so that the joined fabric is doubled. (see diag with your pattern pieces)
Trace your body pattern onto the joined fabric, placing the seam over the waistline. Sew around edges, leaving open where marked on pattern.
Sew around head leaving open at top. Sew around arms, leaving open where marked on side.
Turn all pieces right side out. Stuff arms firmly and close opening with ladder stitch.
Attach arms with 2 small buttons and button jointing method.
Stuff head firmly and gather top opening closed.
Machine or hand quilt the tail, and then stuff the rest of the body firmly. close opening with Ladder stitch.
Draw features on face with your Pigma Pens - Red lips, Blue eyes, Brown eyelashes and eyebrows.
Place head against neck and attach with ladder stitch. Attach your preferred style of hair.
