I used to fly model rockets as a boy in the 70's. My son Ben likes it too - here are a few of our more recent forays:

Estes AstroCam

Some aerial images from our Estes Astrocam of a nearby industrial estate. The first is at ~300m. The second shot is from the rocket coming down at great speed and the ejection charge going off quite close to the ground.

Blast From The Past

Here's a picture of my brother from circa 1974 with his Estes Pershing 1A and V2

The Pershing was a real dud as I recall - even on a D12-3
