Criteria for Level 2 Coaching Accreditation - Information sheet
The Level 2 Sports specific Course is open to any Australian Coaching Council (ACC) registered Level 1 Professional Coach
What should I do?

You will need to arrange to undertake Modules 0,1,2 and 3 of the course yourself by contacting your local Department of Sport Recreation - (these may be taken in any order), verification of attendance is to be sent to the above address.
What will it cost?
Most of the Department of Sport and Recreation courses are $35 to $55 and each home study manual will cost $50 to be paid in advance. (Click here for a course outline) A charge (yet to be decided) will be made for the On Ice component which will be combined with the remaining Units. We envisage conducting these subject to ice availability and with minimum disruption to coaches' teaching schedules.

Points
Each Module attracts 3 points.
Where will it be held?
Because the course has been modified the first 4 Units are external and may be arranged by you to suit your schedule, (they must be completed to be fully qualified). Units 4,5,6,7 and 8 of the Level 2 can be completed at home. The On Ice component will be conducted at a venue convenient to most participants.
Do I still have to do the General Principles?
YES. This is Unit 0 of the course - please forward a copy of your certificate when passed.
Records
Records will be kept by APSA an the application/ record sheet included, you will also receive a record sheet with your home study module. This will enable you to follow your own progress.
