Plyometrics for Figure Skating Adapted from: CHU, D. A. (1991). Jumping into Plyometrics. Plyometrics (or bounding exercises) are the most appropriate exercise for the improvement of height in jumps. Be warned, a solid strength base is neccessary before embarking on a serious plyometrics program. Two years of General Strength Training is a good gauge for adequate base level strength. The following are examples of Plyometric exercises for the improvement of Ice Skating.
