REV’D RACHEL’S ORDINATION

10am, Saturday, 29th November

at Christ Church Cathedral in     Grafton. Lee Shirville will also be Priested and Jazz Dron Deaconed. Please continue to uphold them in prayer. If you would like to          contribute to a gift for Rachel, please put it in an envelope and mark it “Ordination gift” and place on plate.

 

TRIP TO ARIAH PARK

6th -10th  March, 2009Four nights      accommodation at Raymond Terrace, Cootamundra, Dubbo and             Tamworth.  Two course dinner each night plus fully cooked breakfast, morning teas, lunch each day except on the 10th.  Entrance fees to           Pet Porpoise Pool, Coffs Harbour,  The Don Bradman Museum Bowral, day with Ariah Park Parish, Western Plains Zoo, Dubbo, Big Guitar and Wax Museum at Tamworth.

All inclusive $630 twin share,

single supplement $770.  $200 deposit will secure you a seat, the balance to be paid by Thursday February 26.  The balance can be paid off in instalments. Looking forward to you travelling with us. 'LETS EAT OUT' FUNDRAISER FOR BIBLE SOCIETY -

Wednesday, 3rd December, 6pm for 6.30pm at the Golf Club's Buffet meal, plus   seconds, Tea and   Coffee for $15 which includes a levy of $2 to raise funds to buy paper for Bibles for China.

If attending, please pay when you put your name on list provided in the  office.  If any Parishioner would like to donate to this cause, place your money in an envelope and hand in to the office or put in Sunday collection Bag.  Thank you.  Ellen and Marilyn.

ANGEL TREE 2008

W.W.W. What Women Want  No November gathering this month due to other activities.  Last get together this year is on Saturday,                  6th December @ 8.00am at         Missingham ParkFree breakfast will be provided.  Bring a cup and thermos of hot  water. A friend or friends would be very welcome. Place names on sheet at back of church.

CAROLS BY CANDLELIGHT
This year's Carols by Candlelight  presented by the Combined Churches of Ballina and Lennox Head will have the theme of 'Save the World'. Please come along and join us as we       celebrate with music and fireworks and lots of surprises:
on
Saturday, 13th December at the Lennox Head Surf Club and on    Sunday, 14th December at       Kingsford Smith Oval in Ballina. Starting time is 7.30pm.

Proceeds will go to BSREA.

MU AUSTRALIA CHRISTMAS LUNCHEON     This Tuesday,  25th November in the function room. The Ballina Women’s     Christian Choir will present their Christmas  programme at 11.15am followed by lunch at 12.15pm.
