Diet Sheet for
kittens purchased form Ahzel Cattery
Kittens
from 12 weeks to 9 months of age – a minimum of three meals a day (must
include supper, as calcium is required for your kitten’s growth)
Kittens – to nine months – Three meals a day
Adults- From nine months – Two meals a day
Supper as a treat
Breakfast
Choose
from one of the following
- Fish –Whiskas,
any variety
- Fresh cooked
fish – no bones
*Lunch
– if
convenient to feed at this time, otherwise a larger portion for breakfast
- As per above
- Grated cheese
- BBQ chicken –
no bones
Dinner
- Meat –
Whiskas, any variety but exclude Casserole which may cause an upset tummy at
this age
- Cooked mince
- Raw pet meat.
Finely minced. This is available from pet shops, Woolworths & Coles (in
the meat section)
Supper
- Grated cheese
– mild cheddar or Kraft cheese
*Optional
Treats
- Pets Own Milk,
available from any supermarkets
- An egg yolk can
be mixed with this milk, i.e
once a week
- Kitten biscuits,
choose from one of the following: -
Whiskas Advance – Kitten
Eukanuba – Kitten
Purina- Kitten (available from any supermarket)
Available from Pet Barn, Western Pet Foods, your local vet, or any good pet
shop
Water
We
recommend that you keep to the brands listed. To assist your kitten adapt to
his/her’s new home, please keep to this diet sheet as this will avoid any
upsets to your kitten’s digestive system.
