Fastest OZ Mini in the 60s

This Little Brick was, without a doubt, "THE" Fastest mini in OZ in the 60s...based in brisbane & owned by a fella by the name of "John Lungren"...A good friend of my dad`s & quite a formidable competitor...

This lovely mini was deemed "TOO FAST" for the Touring or Sports Sedan classes & was destined for the "Sports Car" category, the reason was that it "Didn`t LOOK like a mini anymore" because of all the de-seaming & roof chop & de-guttering & "modded to the max" doors etc,,,

& now,,,after a huge crash which basically wrote the whole car off,it`s sitting in his workshop undergoing a complete rebuild/restore to its former glory,,,i`ve even donated the left front cut to the cause.

Want to see some Turbo Charged BMW twincam 16 valve headed mini engines??????,,,,YES???
