I`m just a big dick head that has absolutely nothing better to do than practise building web pages for my stupid little web site that probably no one in their right mind would actually visit , let alone enjoy, but here i sit, with my broken leg, typing crap into my computer with the hopes of actually learning how to do this shit. Dad would probly think i`m a dill, he allways has & probly allways will, so this page probly won`t change that hey. :-)

Dad in his little red rally mini van in the "GOOD OLD DAYS" :-)
How this page came about

So,,,just a little about myself for now???,,,Well, i was born in 1963 (yep, old hey?) from my mum "Niki" & my dad "Jack" , both very hard working, I have 2 brothers,,, "Butch"(2 years older) & "Jon"(6 years older) so yeah,,, i`m the baby :-).
Dad & mum both went to uni after their schooling & did all sorts of different courses, but mum ended up becoming a TAFE teacher at Seven Hills & dad ended up following his mechanical instincts & after numerous service station jobs decided to start his own business & jumped in, head first, into the Morris mini scene right at the start of "The Mini Revolution",,, He quickly became Brisbane`s best source of mini repairs ,spares ,upgrades, mods & race car prep.Multiple styles of racing & race car prep brought him to the point where his business demanded his full time attention ,so after experiencing many years of mini racing fame (& not much fortune back then), he became engrossed in his business to the point where not much else mattered (except for his kids schooling, where he nearly went broke supporting our education, needless to say, i think he wasted lots & lots of money, as all three of us kids stuffed right up & trashed his whole ideal into smithereens). So,as the story goes, CAMS club level racing became the order of the day for him along with a whole heap of speedway, & all sorts of other types of dirt racing, short circuit, autocross, hillclimbs etc,,, he really couldn`t afford much tarmac/bitumen racing as tyres , fuel & entries, were all a bit too much for a mini mechanic`s wage. We would often have the Holden precision driving team all partying at our house in Seven Hills fangin their shitbox holdens around & around & around our house, stickin those shitbox old holdens onto 2 wheels & basically makin total dicks of emselves, till all hours of the morning, it was good fun tho, :-) , i didn`t mind a fang around the house myself when they were all at work :-) Dad would often win """Outright""" motorkhanas, hillclimbs, rallies, rally sprints, autocross meetings all in his little red mini van, made into a wagon via the use of a home made, fold down back seat, & up against much more powerfull cars & drivers way more financial than he could have ever been in those days so he really did make a big mark on the racing industry with all sorts of big name drivers holding him with high regard & to this day, & offer great respect to his engine building, knowledge, experience ,ability & driving prowess/experience.

Now here`s a copy of the "Mini Owners Club of Qld" magazine article about my dad.

Here a good pic of Dad`s "ReadSeed Mini Mecca" Delivery cars, well, some of them anyways. At one stage there we had 5x 1415cc Stroker powered mini vans (2 wagons) one Moke Ute, An Austin Kimberly Ute, & the old Royal Brisbane Hospital Ambulance,,,all painted in the "ReedSpeed" Red/white/Blue colours. OH!,,,& another pic of a couple of Austin 1800 "S" replicas that were built for the "Around Australia Endevour Rally".

This is a shot of Dad`s Motorkhana/hillclimb special (ReedSeed MiniBug Mk2) with me fangin around the Lytton Mud flats. This car is pretty historic, at one stage (ages ago) actually owned the hillclimb record at Mt Cotton. I`m hoping to restore this little beasty one day soon.

Now this picy i remember really well because that day we actually had 13x Customers Genuine Cooper"S"`s in the shop at the same time , as well as all our own cars & a pile of cars for sale including 2x Cooper"S"`s, an old austin 1800,& a moke or 2.

Dad`s Mini Marcos Gt,,,what a nice car???!!!
Here`s one from not so long ago, just before he moved his whole workshop & showroom facilities from Morningside down to his acreage in Chandler.

Now this is (was) my Mum.
