"Arm yourselves, and be ye men of valour, and be in readiness for the conflict; for it is better for us to perish in battle than to look upon the outrage of our nation and our altar.": Winston Churchill, in his first broadcast as Prime Minister, on 19 May 1940.

19 July 2002: ECA Control Panel v4.1 released. A minor release, with  a couple of new aircraft and some other changes. Both aircraft now also have a tail hook which extends when the landing gear goes down, as does the F4U Corsair.

17 May 2002: Added an improved Spitfire IX shape by Redeyes, with skins based on Jamie's earlier work. A skin for a June 1944 machine with full D-day stripes is included in this zip file.

1 May 2002: Website opened. There are pages for News,  ECA Control Panel, Add-ons and utilities, Allied aircraft, Axis aircraft, and Links and E-mail. This site is intended to be the home for ECA Control Panel, which hitherto has been only a guest on other peoples' sites. Plus a small storage area for new or modified EAW aircraft (mostly my own work, in whole or part, but with a few of my personal favourites by other EAW fans), And a collection of useful utilities for editing EAW. All the zip files for downloading have an explanatory text file enclosed.
